This is the first post on the Deeper Further Better Blog that will be updated on a weekly basis with articles and features relating to Hypnotherapy, NLP and HSF.
This first feature is about how stress affects the body and is presented by Sharon Horesh Bergquist in a TED-ED animation that explains the workings and consequences of stress as well as the effects it has when experienced over the long term and/or repeatedly.
The video gives only the broadest advice on reducing stress but it is well known and documented that hypnotherapy is an excellent method for people to use as a safe and drug-free way of reducing their personal levels of stress or anxiety. Anybody who has experienced hypnotherapy will confirm that it is an extremely relaxing process and certainly one that is beneficial to someone who is experiencing the ill effects of excessive anxiety or stress.
Qualified hypnotherapists are trained in various methods for assisting with stress and anxiety so do ask your hypnotherapist what methods she/he recommends, in the meantime watch the entertaining and educational brief video courtesy of TED.
