“..everything I thought it was going to be, it wasn’t like that at all..”

“..everything I thought it was going to be, it wasn’t like that at all..”

A lot of people say a lot of things based on “rumour”, based on “what I heard was..”, who repeat stories in the vein of “I knew a man who met a guy in a pub and..”. These can be excellent settings for the start of a comedy routine but are somewhat less helpful when used as the basis for making decisions that are important for yourself.

So today I’m posting a video, that even if you have no current intention of experiencing the benefits of hypnotherapy, I would ask you to watch, so that you can at least be knowledgeable. So when someone tries to tell you differently, you’ll at least know what someone said who has “been there, done that” because that’s what this brief video is, it’s an ordinary woman talking about the first time she went to see a Hypnotherapist. She talks about how it wasn’t like the ‘comedians’ had told her it would be, how it wasn’t like the stage hypnosis she had seen on TV and how it had been a positive straightforward experience.

In the clip she talks about some of the misconceptions she had about what it would be like, she speaks openly about how she was “scared because she didn’t really understand it” and how those fearful feelings were unfounded. She talks about how she was actually “in complete control” all of the time, how she was perfectly able to say “yes, no, a full sentence even” at any time and could even have “walked out of the room” had she wanted to.

She explains clearly how she felt before, during and after the experience and it makes for an interesting and educating watch. It won’t take you 10 minutes to become better informed, click on the clip below to discover how “..everything I thought it was going to be, it wasn’t like that at all..”.
